Brazilian Dance School
Só Samba Canberra is a Brazilian Dance School formed in 2022 to provide classes to the Canberra Community in Brazilian Samba. Só Samba was born from Escola de Samba Canberra, a school that was founded in 2021 by Loren Linke Da Silva, a Brazilian Performer and Instructor who was dedicated to bringing authentic Brazilian dance education to Canberra with the help of Sashya Jay, Director of the sister school Escola de Samba Sydney. In 2022 Loren moved to Adelaide and handed the reigns over to Instructor and Co-Director Nichola Langham to continue her vision.
Só Samba Canberra is accredited by Escola de Samba Sydney and their Director Sashya Jay, Australia's foremost dedicated Brazilian dance school. Escola de Samba Sydney was founded in 2016 and is renowned as the international leader in Brazilian dance education.

We are dedicated to the integrity of Brazilian dance education. We are passionate about sharing our experience and love for Brazilian Samba dance culture with our students.
OUR FOUNDER
Nichola Langham is a Brazilian Dance Performer and Instructor in the Canberra Community. Having trained in Australia, London and Brazil, Nichola is dedicated to representing the art and culture of Brazil with the utmost integrity. Nichola has visited Brazil numerous times, has paraded in Rio Carnival in 2020 with Imperio da Tijuca and again in 2023 with Paraiso do Tuiuti, Em Cima da Hora as well as a Passista with União de Jacarepaguá.
